Rachel has recently returned from performing on tour in SPAIN and BRAZIL with “The Aluminum Show”!
“The Aluminum Show” is a unique, energetic and stimulating tour de force which combines contemporary dance, aerial work, rhythmic movement, visual theater, illusion, and plenty of humor. With sights and sounds that overcome any language barrier, this show continues to be considered visual entertainment at its best.

2009-2010 Performances at Elon University:
In November, Rachel performed in Caitlyn Juengel’s piece, “Vanity” in the “Dancing in the Blackbox” Elon Dance Company fall dance concert. In January, Rachel performed in her original choreography, “(with)oUt” as a guest for Elon University’s first annual “So You Think You Can Dance?- Elon Edition!” competition/fundraiser concert for Elon DanceWorks student organization, of which Rachel is the current President. In February, Elon DanceWorks Organization presented its annual concert, “DanceWorks” concert. Rachel performed a contemporary duet with Rachael Fine, “when we walked…”, a small contemporary group piece, “(with)oUt”, a tap trio with Karena Thacker and Matina Phillips, “eye.<3.u.”, and a large production that included all members of the DanceWorks organization, “we WORK it!”. Rachel choreographed or was a co-choreographer for all of these works.
In April, Rachel performed in Caitlyn Juengel piece “Vanity” and Rachael Fine’s piece “technicasualties”in the Elon Senior Dance Thesis Concerts. Also in April, Rachel performed in Elon Tap Ensemble’s annual all-tap concert, “TAPPED OUT! 2010”, of which she is Assistant Director to tap master Gene Medler. She performed in his choreography “Sanctified Blues” as well as “Dansa Brasileira”. She also performed her own choreography including a solo entitled “Things are gonna get easier…”, and a trio entitled “eye.<3.u.”, co-choreographed with Matina Phillips and Karena Thacker.
In May, Rachel performed in “Elements”, Elon Dance Company’s Spring Dance Concert. Rachel performed in “Loft” by contemporary NYC-based choreographer/BodyArt company director, Leslie Scott, as well as “I fall in. I drift. I burn up. I fall again.” by NC-based choreographer Amy Love Beasley.
